Spinal Care is the Essential First Puzzle Piece to Healthy Living
The central theme that connects the Healthy Living Puzzle is the awareness that there are interferences with the normal function of our lives. Once identified, healthy living strategies can be applied, our lives simply work better.
We all have accidents and injuries throughout life that can have an impact on spinal alignment. Living with a misaligned spine affects how the nerves communicate with every part of the body. Spinal misalignment compromises nerves and ultimately causes dysfunction in various tissues in the body. When this happens, we may experience conditions such as neck or low back pain, migraines, digestive issues, and many others.
The foundational puzzle piece and primary focus of our practice is taking care of the spine and spine-related issues.

The weakest region of the human spine is where the head meets the neck!

You're about to view a typical misalignment, and how an upper cervical correction can restore balance and health to your body.
The weakest region of the human spine is where the head meets the neck! This is due to fact that half of all of our head movements occur between the head and top two vertebrae. Injury will buckle this region of the spine in very large and complex ways, tearing loose connective tissue, ligaments and muscles responsible for maintaining normal posture and head alignment. The result is the misalignment you see here where the head, neck and top vertebra (atlas) have shifted sideways from their normal position. This causes stress and altered nerve flow to and from the brain and creates posture distortion and body imbalance as the entire spine shifts off center. |
